On the densely populated island of Bali, most waterfalls can be found in the mountains. But in the lowlands in Gianyar between the cities of Denpasar and Ubud, the Tegenungan waterfall is a popular tourist attraction.
From the entrance you descend via steep stairs to the gorge. Along the way there are various resting and viewing points. The water falls down with great violence.
The photo was taken with a gray filter and a long exposure time. This makes the falling water appear as a white continuous stream.
