Weiss see

The Weißsee is fed with water from the Kaunertal glacier at an altitude of 2550 meters. The presence of rock crystals provides the azure color.

On the adjacent ski slope, paths were covered with white cloth to make the snow melt as late as possible.

For photography it is nice to note, that some old tree trunks have been put down. This way you get an appealing object in the foreground.
