Sky View Pier Scheveningen

The first pier at Scheveningen (Netherlands near The Hague) was built in 1901 as an extension of the Kurhaus hotel. It was destroyed during the 2nd world war and rebuilt in 1961 at a short distance up north.

Decay set in and the pier closed temporarily in 2013. From 2015 the pier has been revitalized with the sky view big wheel (2016) as a clearly visible signature point.
